Spotty Nails

I wanted to do a nail design that didn't involve painting the entire nail so I came up with this:

I incorporated my new lime green varnish into the design, and you can change it up with different colour combinations, I think shades of pink and purple would be nice.

Here it is before adding a glittery top coat..

It's a good design for short nails as well as long ones :)

Beetlejuice Nails

I've never seen the film before but I couldn't think of a better way to describe these nails.

I started out by painting long French tips in white and then using a black thin tip nail varnish to do the black stripes, but it wasn't very neat so I cut some tape to shape so that the curved line was neat. It looks a bit odd that my nails aren't all the same length, that's cus they are slowly snapping off one by one.. :(

It's quite a sleek look but also jazzy at the same time so it would look good for a night out or a fancy occasion :)

Purple French Tips and A Way to Whiten Your Nails

I've had this nail varnish colour for years but it was drying up so I bought it again; Vivid Purple by Barry M. I used my new glitter to line the french tips for a bit of sparkle. Quite a glamorous look if I do say so myself :)

My mobile picture quality isn't the best but you can see how sparkly the glitter is. It doens't show the holographic-ness of it though and how nice it looks with all the rainbow colours.

I don't know if you can tell but my nails have gotten whiter as I've been cleaning them to get rid of the awful yellow stains they had from me neglecting to use a decent base coat and not giving my nails time to breathe between each design. It sounds harsh but I used neat bleach straight onto my nails and I swear they are 70% whiter after 3 lots of bleach! Now I don't have to hide them under nail varnish out of shame anymore :P

Holographic Glitter

The glitters I ordered on eBay has finally arrived (it had to travel all the way from Hong Kong and I didn't pay any postage :P) and I love them!

They costed just under £2 for all 12 and the colours are so nice, and they're holographic so it reflects all different colours :)

I'm excited to try out the turqoise blue, purple and white :)
