Lunar Haze Nails

I did this look with one of my new polishes called Lunar Haze by Natural Collection.

I love doing fairy-like looks like this with a soft pastel colour fading from the tips and some glitter and holographic hexagons on the end.

It doesn't take very long to create this cute look and it's great for summer :)

Nail Polish Haul

The other day I bought 2 nail polishes, then yesterday my boyfriend came back from Italy and got me 6 more! This is the most I've ever got in such a short space of time :) and here they all are...

This is Lunar Haze by Natural Collection. It was £1.89 in Boots and I love it. It's not opaque after 2 coats but the shimmer on it is beautiful.

Next is Icy Mauve by All About Nails, 99p in Tesco. I have nothing but good things to say about this brand, great colours and an even better price :) This colur is also quite transparent but has a lovely gold shine to it.

Next we have the Italian ones. They're not necessarily Italian brands as the writing is in English but that's what I like to refer to them as :P

This one is Space Queen by a brand called Essence: Colour and Go. It's very similar to Iridescent by Barry M that I have, a pale pink gel with glitter in.

This green  has no name but is by Pupa: Lasting Colour. It's opaque with 2 coats and is a nice colour, but I don't think I'd wear it on its own.

Here is It's Purplicious, again by Essence.

It's a clear base with purple and pink glitter in it. The glitter is a mix of small specks and sqaure chunks. It would look good over a shade of pink or purple.

This one has no name from what I can see on the bottle, it could be no. 22 but I'm not sure. It's by Debby: Colour Play.

I don't normally wear neon colours but I like this one, and if the sun comes out one of these days it'll look good my homemade shorts and sunglasses :)

Lastly we have 2 polishes that came together as a nail art kit. They're also by Pupa, which I think is an Italian brand as it says Pupa: Milano on the box.  One is a silver glitter and the other is a dark grey crackle top coat. The box says Grey Green but I personally don't see the green :P I don't own any crackle polishes but I like the look of this one.

And so ends what I think is my longest post to date. I can't wait to churn out some new looks with these polishes!

Melting Crayons on a Canvas :)

I found videos of people doing this on Youtube and I had to try it! I stuck Crayola Crayons on a white canvas in rainbow colour order and used a hairdryer to melt them into a work of art!

Here they are before, not knowing what's about to happens next :P

This is going on the wall in my room at university :)

I've seen this technique done on black canvas, with the wax melting in other directions and the crayons arranged in different shapes like hearts.

Not bad for my first go at it :D

China Glaze Atlantis, aka My New Favoutite!

The postman woke me up this morning to deliver this hottie of a nail varnish!

It's fairly smooth to the touch for a glitter varnish as the glitter is very fine. It's in a teal- colour gel base and I put on about 4 layers to make it opaque. One coat would look good over a shade of blue or black though.

I love this varnish, just looking at it sparkle in the light is worth the money I paid for it :) It's first night out in public will be to my friend's birthday party next week :P

I took a blurry photo to try and get across just how gilttery it is, didn't do a very good job :P

This picture from Scrangie's blog is a better representative of its glitzy awesomeness!
(P.S. I won the bid for the nail varnish on eBay)

Fairy Nails #2

I have a deep love for this pale green nail varnish. It's called Refreshing Pear by ColorTrend and sadly it's no longer sold in the Avon catalogue where I got it from 2 years ago. Luckily I'm bidding on one on eBay so fingers crossed!

I topped the polish off with Barry M Iredescent and some holographic glitter bits to give it a beautiful sparkle :)

Simple yet effective!

Leopard Print Nails

I'm not really a fan of leopard print clothing but I love the look on my nails in bright colours :)

It's such an easy look to create, just paint your nails in a light colour and then add random shapes of a darker shade of the same colour on top. Then line the dots with black in little C shapes and you're done!

You can try this look in any colour or the traditional yellow and brown shades :)

Floral Nails

I used Konad Special Polish and my bundle monster plates to create this pretty French tip. I used tape to give them a crisp line.

I aim to invest in some Konad Special black polish (it doesn't come cheap!) as I only have white and some of the bundle monster designs would look better in it.
